Molele Parish

This calls for celebration as the congregation expands it borderes in the ministry, everything gets a little frustration as the flock o sheep that God has bestowed upon us increase by the day.

This is another charge without a minister just now (vacant). The Interim Moderator is June Freeth (jfreeth@churchofscotland.org.uk). Orphir and Stenness are in the West Mainland of Orkney (between Kirkwall and Stromness) and each has a primary school. The Church building is now centred in Orphir. Hoy (population about 350) and Flotta (about 50) are islands to the south of Orkney and each is about half an hour by ferry from Orphir. There is a primary school on each. There are 125 members in Orphir & Stenness, 53 in Hoy and 24 in Flotta. Flotta is a small island but is the site of a large oil terminal, with several hundred people travelling from Mainland each day to work there. Hoy and Flotta do not have websites.
