Sakalawe Parish

This calls for celebration as the congregation expands it borderes in the ministry, everything gets a little frustration as the flock o sheep that God has bestowed upon us increase by the day.

This is a West Mainland congregation made up of 3 former parishes and centred at a lovely new Church building (the Milestone Kirk) in the village of Dounby, where there is also a primary school. The minister is David McNeish (dmcneish@churchofscotland.org.uk) and he has been in Orkney for 3 years. The Manse is in Dounby and the congregation has 300 members.
